A 50 anniversary party honoring Rosetta and Leneal Bolden Sr. of Crowley, was held on Saturday, March 15, at 7 p. m. at Masonic Hall.
Mrs. Bolden is the former Rosetta Wilridge. She is the daughter of the late Sidney and Roseana Wilridge of Crowley.
Mr. Bolden is the son of the late Paul and Lethel George also of Crowley. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bolden are retired citizens.
They are the parents of five children, Nelwyn Carter, Jackie Adams and Leneal Bolden Jr., all of Crowley; and Nedra Bolden and Terrance Bolden, both deceased.
They have five grandchildren, Donald Adams Jr., Rashonda Bolden and Artis McCrea III, all of Crowley; Celethia D. Allen, Lake Charles; and Delvin Bolden, of Fort Hood, Texas. They have two great grandchildren, Jesyka D. Anderson and Darius Yokum, both of Lake Charles.
For her special day, Mrs. Bolden wore a two-piece gold skirt set. Her outfit was complimented with a gold and ivory corsage. Her husband’s attire consisted of a two-piece black suit worn with a white shirt, black tie and completed with an ivory corsage.
The couple’s cake featured a full sheet, accented with gold and ivory flowers and double rings placed in center.
Approximately 50 guests attended traveling from Lake Charles, Jennings and Houston.
Their actual anniversary date is March 22.
