Landen Istre turns one

Little Landen Dakota Istre, son of Bridget and Ravien Istre of Crowley, turned one year old on Nov. 14, 2003.
He was honored during a “Sesame Street First Birthday” theme party on Nov. 15 at Mr. Gatti’s in Crowley.
Decorations used for the party included a Sesame Street first birthday tablecloth including matching cutouts, centerpieces, and balloons in the party room. Each guest was presented with a party theme hat, tokens, and a bag of favors.
Guests were served pizza, then sang “Happy Birthday” to the guest of honor who also enjoyed a birthday cake decorated with the honoree’s on a beach scene with Sesame Street.
The honoree also enjoyed a small cake just for his enjoyment.
Guests were also treated to games in the arcade room and played “Pin the Nose on Elmo.”
Landen’s maternal grandparents are Glenda and Valmond Haro of Holden.
Paternal grandparents are Widley Istre and the late Lois Istre of Crowley.
Party guests included his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.
