Early morning raid nets 7
  MORSE – For the second time in the past six days, agents with the Acadia Parish Drug Strike Force went on an early-morning roundup that led to seven arrests.
"This roundup was the result of undercover investigations in the Morse area," Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon stated. "We had received several complaints from the Morse area and today we joined with the police department to pull off the successful raid."
Arrested in the Tuesday morning raid were:
-Guy J. Dugas III, 22, Melody Drive, Crowley. He was arrested for distribution of Oxycodone and bond was set at $25,000.
-Michael J. Miller, 24, Ralph Street, Midland. He was arrested for distribution of cocaine and bond was set at $50,000.
-Arthur Monceaux, 35, of St. Joseph Street, Morse. He was arrested for distribution of Hydrocodone and bond was set at $25,000.
-Eddie Joseph Vincent, 43, Paul Street, Morse. He was arrested for distribution of marijuana and bond set at $10,000.
-Keith Romero, 19, Kruttshnitt Street, Morse. He was arrested for distribution of Hydrocodone. Bond was set at $25,000.
-Joseph "Joey" Thibodeaux, 42, South Jackson Street, Morse. He was arrested and charged with distribution of Hydrocodone. Bond was set at $25,000.
-Damien Lee Barker, 25, Josey Drive, Crowley. He was arrested for distribution of crack cocaine and his bond was set at $50,000.
District Judge Marilyn Castle set all of the bonds in Tuesday’s raid.
The Drug Strike Force is funded in part through a grant from the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement.
