CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 13, 2009 at the Indian Bayou Methodist Church for Alice Foreman Spell, 90, who died at 6:45 p.m.
Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Sulphur, LA.
Rev. Larry Maxwell will conduct the funeral service and the committal services at the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Spell was born July 2, 1918 in Indian Bayou to the late Clarence and Jane Meaux Foreman. She was married in 1942 to the late Roy Spell. They lived together in Sulphur most of their lives. She loved having coffee with her friends and especially spending quality time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters; Jan Wicks and her husband Dan of Houston, TX and Kayla Credeur and her husband Kirk of Sulphur, LA; a son Roddy Spell of Sulphur, LA; a sister, Irene Foreman of Sulphur, LA; three brothers, Acy Foreman of Crowley, LA, Jay Foreman and Cleve Foreman both of Lafayette, LA; 6 grandchildren, Greg Wicks and his wife Sarah of Alexandria, LA, Chad Wicks and his wife Jessica of Austin, TX, Jeff and his wife Anita Spell of Deweyville, TX, Aaron Spell and his wife Rebecca of Orange, TX, Derek Credeur and Kristen Credeur both of Sulphur, LA; five Great-Grandchildren, Sarai, Micah, Jordan, Luke and Brooke Spell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Rose Foreman and a brother Noah Foreman.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. of Crowley.
