Aline Langlinais Mouton

LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille, for Aline Langlinais Mouton, age 90, who died on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Maison de Lafayette Nursing Home in Lafayette.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.

Her Nephew and Godchild, Reverend Richard Broussard, Pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church in Pine Prairie, Louisiana will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Giftbearers will be Joycelyn Bearb, Courtney Babin, Nicole Bearb, Laura Lejeune and Christine Privat. Lectors will be Stephanie Babin and Allison Bouillion. Jodi Bollich, organist will sing for the services, “Amazing Grace”, “Oh Loving God”, “Hail Mary, Gentle Woman” and “Be Not Afraid”.

Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Babin and her husband Allen of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Dianne Bearb and her husband Malcolm of Carencro and Suzanne Redlich and her husband Donald of Crowley; two sons, Glenn Mouton of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Donald Mouton and his husband Bobby Bordo of New York, New York; seven grandchildren, Joycelyn Bearb, Allison Bouillion and her husband, Ben, Malcolm Paul Bearb and his wife Nicole, Stephanie Babin, Courtney Babin, Christine Privat and her husband, Jason, Edmond Hill and his fiancee’ Laura Lejeune; ten great grandchildren, Miles Moreno, Annelise, Meredith, Katherine, Luke, Samuel and Genevieve Privat, David and Brooks Bouillion and Jaxson Hill; one sister, Madeline Roseland of San Antonio, Texas and two sisters-in-law, Penny Langlinais of Lafayette and Sister Fatima Mouton of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty nine years, Ernest Mouton; her parents, Elias Langlinais and the former Ophelia Richard; nine brothers, Richard, Ivey, Alex, L.E., Theo, Roy, Adrien, Hugh and Hector Langlinais; five sisters, Littey Bonin, Bella Patin, Eugenie Goudeau, Monique Broussard and Eunice St. Martin. Also, preceding her in death were her son-in-law Leslie Hill and two sisters-in-law and neighbors at Maison de Lafayette, Mathilde Olivier and Marie Savoy.

Pallbearers will be Donald Mouton, Malcolm Paul Bearb, Edmond Hill, Miles Moreno, Ben Bouillion and Jason Privat.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David and Brooks Bouillion, Samuel and Luke Privat and Jaxson Hill.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille’s DOWNTOWN location on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 8 a.m. until time of service.

A Rosary will be prayed Monday at 7 p.m. by Reverend Richard Broussard in Martin & Castille Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend their special appreciation to the nurses, aides and staff at Maison de Lafayette and Heart of Hospice for their loving care and support.
