PASA is pleased to present international sensation “The Aluminum Show” a high-energy, visually stunning, family-friendly live show to the Heymann Performing Arts Center at 7:30pm on Wednesday April 20. This is our final performance of the current season and we’re ending it with a live-action, interactive complete performing arts experience. We will have a daytime performance for middle and high school students at 10:30am on Thursday, April 21. Tickets are $5 per person and interested principals and teachers can register their students through the PASA office at (337) 237-2787.
PASA is proud to have created several interactive fun-filled outreach activities in connection with this performance including an art exhibit featuring aluminum inspired art, a Q&A with the cast during the daytime student performance and a pre-show conversation with the creative team( think robotics expert/technical director, costumer!) behind this extraordinary theater production prior to the evening public performance.
The art exhibit includes art from St Pierre’s Center for The Arts which features artist with developmental disabilities creating art through art therapy. The student performance Q&A will be led by local journalist/playwright Cody Daigle and the pre-show conversation will be led by Travis Johnson, associate theater professor and Technical Director for the U.L College of Music and Performing Arts.
