LAFAYETTE – Anna Kathryn Moody of Lafayette was recently chosen to portray the lead role of “Clara” in the upcoming production of the Lafayette Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker. She was chosen out of 160 students auditioning for the various parts in the ballet.
“This has really been a dream come true. Since the first time I was ever in The Nutcracker, I knew I would love to play the role of ‘Clara’,” said Moody.
“But I also knew it would take a lot of hard work. It was all worth it because it has been an amazing experience.”
