Annual Miss Merry Christmas Pageant to be held November 19

The annual Miss Merry Christmas Pageant, sponsored by Eta Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will once again be held on Thursday, November 19 beginning at 7 p.m. at the International Rice Festival Building.

Tickets for the event are $3 for adults and $1 for children. The pageant will include 24 contestants, a visit from Santa Claus and entertainment by Core Dance Center and the Redemptorist Catholic Bell Choir. In addition, chances for a giant Christmas stocking will be sold by the sisters of Eta Sigma Phi for $1 a chance. Concessions will also be available.

The 2009 pageant contestants are:

Contestant number one is Miss Kayla Shae Trahan, the seven-year-old daughter of Tim and Julia Trahan. She is a student at Egan Elementary School and enjoys camping, hunting, playing computer and horseback ridding.

Contestant number two is Miss Laila Deville, the seven-year-old daughter of Chad and Heather Deville. She is a student at Egan Elementary School and enjoys coloring, playing outside and swimming.

Contestant number three is Miss Alexis Nicole Dalfrey, the seven year old daughter of Rickey and Dinah Dalfrey. She is a student at St. Michael Catholic School and enjoys swimming, shopping and dancing.

Contestant number four is Miss Amanda Cormier, the six-year-old daughter of Bernadette Cormier and the late Evans Cormier. She is a student at Redemptorist Catholic School and enjoys singing and dancing.

Contestant number five is Miss Melise Maloz, the six-year-old daughter of Joey and Michelle Maloz. She is a student at Redemptorist Catholic School and enjoys coloring and dancing.

Contestant number six is Miss Maddie Foster, the six-year-old daughter of John and Tracy Foster. She is a student at Redemptorist Catholic School and enjoys dancing, bike riding, jumping on the trampoline and playing with friends.

Contestant number seven is Miss Alaina Lynne Kibodeaux, the six-year-old daughter of James and Michelle Kibodeaux. She is a student at Redemptorist Catholic School and enjoys reading, playing with her little sister, her dog Jack and her friends, spending time with her grandparents and horse back riding.

Contestant number eight is Miss Lauren Ashlie Stewart, the six-year-old daughter of Paula and Gerald Stewart. She is a student at Redemptorist Catholic School and enjoys playing with her puppy, Scooby, playing with her classmates and watching SpongeBob.

Contestant number nine is Miss Dixie Jo Guidry, the six-year-old daughter of Ryan and Maegen Guidry. She is a student at Egan Elementary School and enjoys painting horses, playing outside and riding her bike.

Contestant number ten is Miss Karley Elizabeth Campbell, the six-year-old daughter of Steven and Mandy Campbell. She is a student at South Crowley Elementary School and enjoys playing board games, catching bull frogs with her dad and bike riding.

Contestant number eleven is Miss Allison Anne Mire, the six-year-old daughter of Tricia and Tiger Mire. She is a student at St. Michael Catholic School and enjoys dancing and playing with friends.

Contestant number twelve is Miss Paige Alexis Vincent, the seven year old daughter of Nick and Heidi Vincent. She is a student at Redemptorist Catholic School and enjoys dancing, baseball and gym.

Contestant number thirteen is Miss Taylor Minix, the six-year-old daughter of Nicky and Danielle Sam. She is a student at Ross Elementary School and enjoys coloring, riding her bicycle and playing with her brother.

Contestant number fourteen is Miss Jayden Layn Morgan, the six-year-old daughter of Joshua and Tillie Morgan. She is a student at Northside Christian School and enjoys playing soccer, going camping and riding her bike.

Contestant number fifteen is Miss Emily Grace Voisin, the six-year-old daughter of Brian and Melanie Voisin. She is a student at St. Michael Catholic School and enjoys dancing, singing and drawing.

Contestant number sixteen is Miss Sierra Kae Primeaux, the six-year-old daughter of Roger and Debbie Primeaux. She is a student at South Crowley Elementary School and enjoys watching television, playing with her cousin and dancing.

Contestant number seventeen is Miss Brooke Angelle Signorelli, the six-year-old daughter of Patrick and Patsy Signorelli. She is a student at South Crowley Elementary School and enjoys playing with her jump rope and Webkinz.

Contestant number eighteen is Miss Jadyn Pauline Devillier, the six-year-old daughter of Sean and Sonia Devillier. She is a student at St. Michael Catholic School and enjoys swimming, pretending, drawing and coloring.

Contestant number nineteen is Miss Rosemary Navarre, the six-year-old daughter of Jessica Navarre. She is a student at South Crowley Elementary and enjoys dancing, singing, coloring, watching T.V. and playing with her cousins.

Contestant number twenty is Miss Alesha Johnson, the seven-year-old daughter of Aaron and Amber Johnson. She is a student at Ross Elementary School and enjoys dancing and playing outside.

Contestant number twenty-one is Miss Anya Claire Cormier, the six-year-old daughter of Jacob and Angelle Cormier. She is a student at Northside Christian School and enjoys drawing, coloring and loves to dance.

Contestant number twenty-two is Miss Lauren Eve Hoffpauir, the six-year-old daughter of Scott and Cheryl Hoffpauir. She is a student at Redemptorist Catholic School and enjoys riding her bike, playing with her pets and doing crafts.

Contestant number twenty-three is Tatum Comeaux, the six-year-old daughter of Preston and Katie Comeaux. She is a student at South Crowley Elementary School and enjoys art, cooking, soccer, cheering and playing Barbies.

Contestant number twenty four is Bailey Anne Sittig, the six-year-old daughter of Jude and Anne Sittig. She is a student at St. Michael Catholic School and enjoys dancing and playing with friends and her little brother.
