APPJ election results: Dale Trahan, Al Stevenson victorious

ACADIA PARISH – ACADIA PARISH – Two police jury seats were forced into a runoff election and now the police jury is set again.

In District 4, John H. Quebodeaux, the incumbent was defeated by Dale Trahan by a 69 percent to 31 percent ratio.

In District 1, Alton “Al” Stevenson will return to the Acadia Parish Police Jury. Challenger Vernon “Step” Martin withdrew his name from the race at the November Crowley City Council meeting, citing his promise to Crowley citizens for four years of service to the city council.
