Artists sought for 31st annual Arts in the Park
CROWLEY - The Crowley Art Association (CAA) is excited to invite artists to participate in its annual Arts in the Park, to be held in conjunction with the International Rice Festival, on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19. This year will mark the 31st anniversary of the event, which will be held in Levy Park.
All artists are invited to participate in Arts in the Park 2013.
All displays must be handcrafted. Because this is an outdoor show with no cover, artists are asked to bring canopies in case of inclement weather.
Booth fees are $100 for a space up to 20’ x 20’. CAA display artist booth fees are $50. No booth fees will be refunded after Oct. 7.
The CAA will be at Levy Park at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, and vendors will be setting up booths on a first-come-first-served basis. No vendors will be allowed to set up before that time.
Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. Friday morning in Levy Park. Security will be provided Friday evening from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. Saturday. Sponsors assume no responsibility for loss of or damages to any items left in the booths. Exhibitors must assume responsibility for setting up, conducting business, collecting sales tax and cleaning their areas after the show, including the removal of all stakes used for canopies and trash.
No resale booths accepted.
All food booths will set up on the north side of Levy Park.
