August 3 wedding date set for Clayton, Lafosse
IOTA - Caitlin Simone Clayton and Timothy Michael Lafosse, both of Crowley, have announced their engagement and intention to be joined as husband and wife on the evening of Saturday, August 3.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Gwen and Joey Foreman and Joseph Clayton, all of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Elaine and Norris Simon and the late Lois Simon, and Billie Clayton and the late Roland Clayton, all of Crowley.
Caitlin graduated from Northside Christian School in 2011 and is presently attending Louisiana State University at Eunice. She is currently employed by Rice City Gymnastics and is a member of the Crowley Professional Women’s Club.
The prospective groom is the son of Julie and Tim Lafosse of Crowley. His maternal grandparents are Pamela Goff of Crowley and Carolyn and Larry Goff of Morrilton, Ark. His paternal grandparents are Patricia and Charles Lafosse of Crowley.
Timothy is a 2007 graduate of Crowley High School and a 2011 graduate of the Acadiana Law Enforcement Training Academy, where he received the Top Cadet award. He is currently employed by the Crowley Police Department.
Caitlin and Timothy will be wed during a 5:30 p.m. nuptial ceremony at Point-aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota. Reverend Randy Trahan will officiate.
Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Crowley.
