Beryl Faulk celebrates 80 years
Beryl Faulk was honored with a surprise 80th birthday
celebration on November 8, at Ebenezer Nazarene Church Hall.
The party was originally planned on her actual birth date of September 13, but was postponed due to hurricane Ike.
A patriotic theme with red, white and blue decor adorned the hall. The honoree’s cake was a U.S. flag made by Miranda Semons.
Guests enjoyed visiting and taking pictures with Beryl and viewing a “Girls just want to have fun” slide show.
“A tribute to Beryl Faulk” was read by Pam Abshire. And a wall photo display was provided by Mona Gill.
Her siblings, Billie Foreman, Fannie Sarver, Nina Spell, C.W. Faulk and Frank Faulk along with sister and brother-in-laws David and Opal Ashby, Richard Morgan and Joyce and Susan Faulk joined Beryl for this joyous occasion.
Seventy-five family and friends attended this surprise of a lifetime.
