The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father Roger Arceneaux. She wore an ivory satin pick-up gown featuring a lace beaded peek-a-boo neckline with a chapel train. Her ivory fingertip veil was accented with beading and she carried a lovely bouquet of ivory roses and lilies.

In keeping with tradition, she carried her late grandmother’s wedding bands in her bouquet to represent her bit of something old. Her bit of something new was her dress and she borrowed a pearl necklace from a friend of the family. For a bit of blue she wore a blue bridal garter.

Serving the bride was her maid of honor, her friend Brittany Dalfrey; and her attendants Kamie Arledge, Bridget Faulk, Lauren Johnson, and Joltanna Coleman, all friends of the bride; and Jasmyn Bourque, the sister of the groom. All wore tea length black satin dresses featuring v-neck detail with ruching at the waist. They carried ivory calla lilies for bouquets.

Serving the groom was his best man and friend, Christopher Gass; and his groomsmen Derek Murphy, Darrell Deculus, Charles Hendricks, Justin Menard, and Cainen Matte, all friends of the groom.

The wedding ushers were Curt Matte and Corey Landry, both of whom are friends of the bride and groom.

The flower girls were the nieces of the groom, Jada and Brooklyn Berza.

The mother of the bride, Joycelyn Arceneaux, wore a tasteful outfit accented with an ivory rose corsage. The mother of the groom, Phyllis Bourque, also wore a nice outfit accented with a matching ivory rose corsage.

The rehearsal dinner was held on May 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the home of Gary and Laura Matte. It was hosted by Phyllis Bourque, mother of the groom; Laura Matte, and Kristi Zaunbrecher, friends of the bride and groom. The menu included shrimp etouffee, green bean casserole, pasta salad, rolls, and Butterfinger cake.

The wedding reception was held at the St. Edward Church hall in Richard. The bride’s cake was a three-tiered ivory confection featuring fleur de lis and the letter “B” and was made by Laura McLeod.

The groom’s cake reflected the groom’s favorite past time. A Can Am Renegade four wheeler was depicted on the top of the cake. The groom’s cake was also made by Laura McLeod.

The couple travelled to Riviera Maya, Mexico for their honeymoon and they currently reside in Lake Charles.
