CROWLEY – Brailon J. Webster, 22, of Crowley, departed this life on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital from an accidental gunshot wound.
A celebration of Brailon’s life will be held Monday, September 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Martin Luther King Center in Crowley, with the Reverend Isaiah J. Webster of Baton Rouge officiating. Viewing will take place at the MLK Center from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Interment will be in the West Crowley Cemetery.
Brailon was born in Lafayette on March 4, 1986 to Cassandra Webster and Yuri Gordon. He was an affectionate, fun loving person with a beautiful spirit who was loved by all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his passing a loving mother, Cassandra Gordon (John Alexander) of Lafayette; his father, Yuri Gordon of Salinas, Calif.; one daughter, Taji Hayes of Crowley; his siblings, Taiquincia Webster and Xyquarrius Webster of Lafayette, Yuressa Gordon of Washington, D.C. and Kristopher Savoy of Crowley; a devoted grandfather, Joseph Gordon; a great-great grandmother, Lou Ethel Gordon of Crowley; maternal grandparents, Etta L. Green (Coston) of Jennings and Isaiah J. Webster (Louise) of Baton Rouge; a paternal grandmother, Yvonne Gordon of Lake Charles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Fondel Funeral Home of Lake Charles is in charge of the arrangements.
