Caitlin Johnson and Jimmy Guidry, Jr.
Caitlin Johnson and Jimmy Guidry, Jr. were united as husband and wife on December 22, 2008, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony said at the home of Carl and Carla Vincent of Sulphur. The couple was married by Judge Charlie Schrumpf.
The bride is the daughter of Patricia Johnson of Eunice and granddaughter of Barbara Leger and Bill Dunigan of Rayne and the late Jesse Leger. She is a graduate of Eunice High School and is employed as a pre-school teacher at FBC of Sulphur.
The groom is the son of Renee and Jimmy Guidry, Sr. of Sulphur. His grandparents are L.P. and Clyda Guidry of Sulphur and Carl and Carl and Frances McClelland of Vinton. His great-grandmother is Yowla Whiddon of Vinton. He is a graduate of Sulphur High School and is now serving our country as a United State Navy Corpsman.
The bride was given in marriage by her sisters, Kelsi and Kaila Johnson of Eunice.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Kristen LaPoint of Eunice. Her escort was the best man, Daniel Dryman of Sulphur.
Morgan Guidry of Sulpur served as flower girl. Her escort was Benjamin Dryman of Sulphur.
The bride will reside in Sulphur while her groom completes a tour of duty in Okinawa, Japan.
A reception for family and friends will be held at that time in Eunice.
