Madeline M. Campbell, my darling of 61 years went to be with the Lord July 30, 2008. She was born in El Paso, Texas August 25, 1929 and we were married July 6, 1947. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmtoher. She is in the arms of Jesus now and I will miss her.

Religious services were held at Victory Harvest Church in Baton Rouge, Friday, August 1, 2008, conducted by Kenny Cutrer. Her graveside services were held at Port Hudson since I, Gerald Campbell am a veteran.

All funeral arrangements were handled by Renaissance Funeral Home of Gonzales.

She is survived by her five children, Jessie Campbell of Baton Rouge, Peggy Swetledge of Walker, Billy Campbell of Pine Grove, Connie Arvin of Walker and Lynda May of Denham Springs; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
