Celebrate gourmet food, exquisite wines and local musicians in some of the most beautiful homes in Lafayette
LAFAYETTE – Pour it OUT for PASA, the Performing Arts Society of Acadiana’s (PASA) annual wine tour will take guests through four exquisite residences in River Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13. This exciting event celebrates the art of fine food and wine pairings, performances by local musicians, beautifully decorated homes and gardens and; is an annual fundraiser for the organization.
PSA’s Wine Tasting Tour begins at 6:30 p.m. with champagne and live music provided by Jen Reed and Grammy award winner Mitch Reed of BeauSoliel, playing “unplugged” dueling fiddles outside of POUR, located in the River Ranch Town Square. POUR is Lafayette’s newest and most intriguing hotspot for wine connoisseurs. From POUR, guests will be transported to four magnificent homes located in River Ranch where they will enjoy delicious food, prepared by Chef Jude Tauzin of Village Café with hand selected wines paired and poured by Glazer’s of Louisiana. This year’s homes include those of several longtime PASA supporters including the French colonial inspired manor of Kay Dore, the Caribbean style home of Chip Romero and Ali Elner, the traditional lakeside home of Ken and Jane Blanchard, and the contemporary Mediterranean home of Richard and Crystall Young.
Pour it OUT for PASA is sponsored by Glazer’s Companies of Louisiana, Iberia Bank, The Cartesian Company, Van Eaton and Romero, River Ranch Development, Village Café, Event Rental, Don and Tish Johnson, David and Prissy Wilson, Dr. Jay Culotta and Rick and Connie Voth.
Tour-goers will walk along the beautifully landscaped paths to the designated homes or climb aboard complimentary transportation to make their way from home to home throughout the evening. At each residence, guests will enjoy live music by local musicians and an array of wines poured and provided by Glazer’s Companies of Louisiana. The wines will be paired with delectable gourmet hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Jude Tauzin of Village Café. In addition to the food and fine wine, guests will have the opportunity to view and bid on exclusive auction items from River Ranch merchants KiKi, Paul’s Fine Jewelry, local artist Hope Hebert and PASA, creating a unique one of a kind entertainment experience.
The tour will end at Village Café located on the square at River Ranch where guest will enjoy more live entertainment, delectable desserts, aperitifs and gourmet coffee. Village Café will remain open to tour participants for late night dining from 9:30 pm until – with their full menu available for those who would like a full dining experience after the tour, reservations are recommended by calling the restaurant at (337) 981-8085.

The PASA Wine Tour is an important PASA fundraiser. Money raised from these events helps support the main stage programs, as well as initiatives such as PASA’s Daytime Performances for Students series; PASA Plus, which provides educational and free performances for senior citizens; master classes for local artists and outreach programs such as; “Play It Again, Lafayette,” a musical instrument recycling program, and more.
Founded in 1988, the Performing Arts Society of Acadiana is a non-profit organization that presents live entertainment at the Heymann Performing Arts Center and other local venues, creates in-school arts activities, and offers daytime performances for students and initiates outreach programs such as PASA Plus and Play It Again, Lafayette. PASA presents annual performances of dance, drama and a variety of musical acts.
