Rayne - Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. for Clyde Constantine, 84 who died Thursday, June 4, 2009 in Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne.
Surviving are two sisters, Henritte Gautreaux of Rayne and Angelle Richard of Lafayette; one brother, Gladstone Constantine and wife Frances of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by parents, Frank Constantine and Elizabeth Benoit Constantine; three brothers, Augustine Constantine, Martin Constantine, Vernie Constantine.
He was born Wednesday, March 11, 1925 in Lafayette Parish, son of the late Frank Constantine and the late Elizabeth Benoit.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2009.
Friends were received Friday, June 5, 2009 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., and Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 8 a.m. until service at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc.

Harry Lee Guidry
Funeral services were held for Harry Lee Guidry, 82, who died on June 1, 2009, at Colonnade Nursing Facility in Pearland, Texas.
He was born on May 17, 1927 in Rayne, moving to Houston in the late 1940’s. He worked for the Borden Company for many years and then ventured into business as a franchise owner of Pepperidge Farm Products until his retirement. He enjoyed his children and family and his many camping adventures as well as playing golf.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Myra Elizabeth Davis Guidry of Missouri City, Texas; and his children, Linda G. Massengale of Spring, Texas, Glenn J. Guidry and wife Dianne of Pasadena, Texas, Betty and husband Nathan Choate of Houson, Texas, Ronald Brooks and wife Vangie of Missouri, Texas, Cynthia Boggs of Houston, Texas, Sherry and husband Dwayne Troutman of Spring, Texas, and Jocelyn G. Orem of Stafford, Texas; along with his grandchildren, Eric Massengale, Sean Massengale, Ginger Guidry, Frederick Choate, Roderick Choate, Jerry Lee Lester, Bruce Lester, Edward Brooks, Myra Elizabeth Brooks, Bonnie Brooks, Steven Brooks, Myrissa Troutman, Anthony Orem and Daniel Orem; four sisters, Viola G. Blanchard of Scott, Ella Mae G. Foreman of Rayne, Marie G. Broussard of Rayne and Jeanette G. Leger of Rayne; two brothers, Lawrence Guidry and Dr. John Guidry, both of Rayne.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Eloi Guidry and Anne Caillier Guidry; four brothers, Paul Guidry, Dennis Guidry, Gerald Guidry and Rodney Guidry; and one sister, Julia Guidry.
Memorial services will be conducted at a later date with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne.
