The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Ray Comeaux, was lovely in an A-line gown of white satin. The halter-top ensemble featured a split-style front with a beaded lace embellishment and a removable modesty panel. The lace-up back was completed with a chapel-length train adorned with a lavender satin sash. For her headpiece, Christie wore a rhinestone tiara with accents in the shape of double hearts and a fingertip-length veil. She carried a bouquet of purple and white roses combined with lace and ribbons.
In keeping with traditions, the bride wore a pearl necklace and earring set as something old, her dress as something new, her shoes as something borrowed and as something blue was her garter.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her daughter, Hannah Lantier. Bridesmaids were Cindy Comeaux and Cassie Comeaux, sisters of the bride; and Theresa Credeur, Tracie Credeur and Mona Citizen, friends of the bride.
Each bridal attendant was attired in a gown of lilac satin with a caviar beaded underlay. The creations featured a side gathering held with satin buttons. They each wore a matching shawl and carried a bouquet of purple and white roses resembling the bride’s arrangement.
Standing as best man was son of the bride, Jeremy Lantier. Groomsmen were Cody Cormier, brother-in-law of the groom; Russell Comeaux, cousin of the bride; Timmy Credeur and Nick LeJeune, friends of the bride and groom; and Andrew Abshire, nephew of the groom.
Katie Abshire, niece of the groom; and Ashton Guidry, godchild of the bride; served as flower girls, while Grant Abshire, godchild of the groom; and Kayde Comeaux, nephew of the bride; shared the duties of ring bearer.
On her daughter’s special day, the mother of the bride, the former Dinah Trahan, was ravishing in a lilac shirt paired with black dress pants. The mother of the groom, the former Linda Monceaux, was radiant in a purple floral print shirt and black dress pants. Both mothers were presented with a corsage of purple roses.
Following the ceremony the hall also provided the setting for a beautiful reception. The reception area was decorated throughout in a purple and white motif.
