Compass Health holds nursing home luncheon

RAYNE - Compass Health held its annual Nursing Home Appreciation Luncheon Thursday for nursing home administrators and staff from Acadia, Evangeline, Jeff Davis and Vermilion Parishes. Approximately 100 guests attended the luncheon held at Chef Roy’s restaurant in Rayne.
A presentation on Alzheimer’s vs. Dementia was presented by Kathy Little, nurse practitioner with Compass Behavioral Center of Crowley and Vermilion Behavioral Health of Kaplan.
Other sponsors associated with the luncheon were A First Name Basis Home Care, Gremillion Drug Store, Crowley, St. Landry EMS, Southern Care Hospice and The Therapy Center.
Compass Health psychiatric inpatient hospitals and outpatient facilities affiliated with the luncheon included Behavioral Medicine Unit and Bridgeway of Church Point; Compass Behavioral Center of Crowley, Kaplan and Mamou; Jennings Senior Care Hospital and Stepping Stones of Jennings and Vermilion Behavioral Health Center of Kaplan.
