Crime Stoppers of Acadia seeks information in Wal-Mart felony theft

CROWLEY – Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a felony theft of 35 cell phones that occurred at Wal-Mart on Saturday, Aug. 31.

The first suspect, who gained access to the electronics checkout counter, is described as a black female in her early 20s, medium build, approximately 5 feet to 5 feet 5 inches in height, long straight black hair, wearing a red jacket and khaki pants.

The second suspect, who served as the look out, is described as a black male in his early 20s, slim build, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet in height, wearing a red baseball cap, a black jacket with a Batman emblem on the front, and khaki shorts.

They were seen leaving in what’s believed to be a white Chevrolet Equinox or like vehicle.
