Crowley Chamber of Commerces announces new president
The Crowley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announces the selection of a new President/CEO, Amy Stansbury Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux has served as the office manager at the chamber since July of last year and was recently promoted to president.
During her time at the chamber, Thibodeaux has been heavily involved in increased marketing efforts and event management, in addition to membership services and administrative duties. Thibodeaux looks forward to the implementation of a new website and preparing for the chamber’s annual banquet in the coming month.
“The Board and I are excited that Amy has accepted the position and look forward to working with her," said Chairman Bryan Francis. "She is a great fit for the Chamber and we expect a smooth transition into her new position.”
Thibodeaux's education and experience were key factors in her recent promotion at the chamber. With a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in marketing, she is also currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration at the University of Louisiana.
Her professional experience includes sales management with Dillard’s and Estee Lauder, and many may recognize her from her years of service at Fezzo’s throughout her time in college.
A native of Church Point, Thibodeaux currently resides in Crowley with her husband, Brandon Thibodeaux, and their two daughters, Sarah and Brylee. She is excited about the opportunity to lead the Chamber.
“I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to serve as Chamber President/CEO of the Crowley Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to the continuance of the level of excellence that the Chamber has exhibited throughout the community and region.”
