The Crowley Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile.

Chief: BB guns a concern

BB guns that have the same look as more powerful, deadly handguns have been confiscated by the Crowley Police Department from area juveniles recently. Chief K.P. Gibson has expressed his concern over these weapons and has asked the community to keep these questionable guns off of Crowley’s streets.

During the last several weeks, officers with the Crowley Police Department have removed guns off of juveniles.

Hit-and-run incident under investigation at FNB

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that occurred at First National Bank, located at 128 N. Parkerson Ave. in Crowley, on Feb. 17, at approximately 10:15 a.m.

Political forum set Feb. 23

As was announced by Alderwoman Ezora Proctor during last week’s Crowley City Council meeting, a candidate forum for those vying for the Crowley Chief of Police seat will be held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreational Center on Tuesday, Feb, 23, at 6:30 p.m.
