Crowley Police Narcotics Division has early year success

Crowley Police Narcotics Division has started the year off rather quickly conducting several search warrants and making other street level narcotics arrest. “Our goal is to increase the amount of investigations and to continue the street level efforts regarding narcotic activity and other crime that support this illegal industry” stated Chief of Police K.P. Gibson.
During the past week, officers have made 7 arrests for illegal narcotics activity within the City of Crowley. Search Warrants were executed at 925 West 3rd Street and 415 West Andrus Street. The following persons have been arrested and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on separate charges:
Mona Leger, 37, Crowley: PWITD Crack Cocaine, Possession of Schedule I & II Narcotics in a School Zone and Possession of Marijuana
Travis Reed, 30, Crowley: PWITD Crack Cocaine, Possession of Schedule I $ II Narcotics in a School Zone, Possession of Marijuana
Fermand Allen, 30, Crowley: PWITD Schedule I Narcotics
Rakeem Thorne, 21, Crowley: Possession of Marijuana, Possession pof Crack Cocaine, Resisting Arrest
Katrinka Jones, 46, Crowley: PWITD Marijuana, Illegal Carrying of a Firearm
Nikkita Savoy, 20, Crowley: Possession of Cocaine, Resisting Arrest, Obtruction of Justice
Cornelius Cain, 23, Crowley: Possession of Marijuana
