Cumale “Kim” Aucoin
JENNINGS – A memorial service honoring the life of Cumale “Kim” Aucoin, 64, will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, La on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ted Broussard officiating.
She was called to her Heavenly Father from her home in Evangeline early Tuesday morning. Visitation was held at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of her services. A rosary was recited on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Cumale will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
Cumale was born in Jennings, La to the late Robert Lovette & Rosa Belle Navarre on December 12, 1944. She was the service manager at Meaux Pontiac in Crowley for many years. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Cumale was a giving and unselfish woman. She loved being around people and helped them in anyway she could. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Jody Aucoin and his wife Karen of Lake Charles and Jozette Thibodeaux and her husband Terrel of Iota; one aunt, Mary Daisy Navarre Prosser of Riverside, CA; and her three beautiful grandchildren, Lacey Thibodeaux of Iota, Joshua & Seth Aucoin of Lake Charles.
Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lovette & Rosa Belle Navarre; and her husband, William “Bill” Aucoin.
