December vows planned

Kenneth and Donna Venable of Crowley are pleased to annouce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ann Marie, to Adam Meche, son of David and Helen Meche of Duson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Boulet of Crowley, the late William Earl Boulet, Logan Paul Venable and Brunella Stelly Venable. She is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she will graduate in December of this year with a degree in communication disorders.

The prospective groom is the grandson of David Meche of Duson, the late Helen Larriviere Foreman, Dave Foreman and Nella Arceneaux. He is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in industrial technology, and is employed by T-Baker Smith.

The couple plans to exchange wedding vows on Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Rayne with Fr. Joe Breaux officiating.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
