Demond Ledet

Parks — A Mass of christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at l0 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church for Demond Demetris Ledet, 35, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Abbeville General Hospital.

Demond leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lillie Mae Ledet of Parks; three daughters, Daija, Tyja and Bre’ona Alexander all of St. Martinville; five sisters, Dana (Braylon) Hurd and Katrina Potier of Lafayette, Tiffany Ledet of Atlanta, Alicia Ledet of Breaux Bridge, Devon (John) Ames of St. Martinville; one brother, Kenneth Dauphine of St. Martinville; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dieudonne Dauphine; his maternal grandparents; Wilbert Ledet Sr. and Mildred Ledet and his grandmother’s companion of many years, Andrew Davis; his paternal grandparents, Louis Dauphine and Aurelia Joseph Dauphine and one sister Jumay Dauphine.

Interment was held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville.

Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Kinchen Funeral Home of Lafayette.
