Disaster Relief slates Sunday benefit concert
The Rayne Disaster Relief, Inc., in close cooperation with the City of Rayne is sponsoring a fund-raiser “Musical Extravaganza” on Sunday, June 5, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Frog Festival Pavilion for the victims of the tornado which devastated a significant portion of Rayne on March 5.
Admission is free for children up to the age of 5. Admission for children ages 6 to 12 will be $2. Adult admission will be $7 and can be purchased from members of Rayne Disaster Relief or at the gate. Raffle tickets will also be sold during the fund-raising event.
Several local entertainers have volunteered their services to make this event a success. Also, Several local nonprofit organizations will be participating and volunteering their time and services on the day of the event.
In order to maximize contributions to the victims of the March 5th tornado, Rayne Disaster Relief, Inc., is seeking sponsorships from business that support their community.
• Diamond - $1000.00 = 15 free tickets and name on stage;
• Platinum - $750.00 = 10 free tickets and name on stage;
•Gold - $500.00 = 5 free tickets and name at the gate entrance;
• Silver - $250.00 = 3 free tickets and name at the gate entrance; and
• Bronze - $100 = 2 free tickets and name at the gate entrance.
