Doris Dartez Stafford
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 31, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Doris Dartez Stafford, 75, who died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 1:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Our momma loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Fr. James Brady, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Stafford and her companion Liz of Crowley, Paula S. Lucero and her husband Kenneth of Crowley; three sons, Dexter Stafford and his wife Sue of Crowley, Ray Stafford and his wife Dot of Conroe, TX, Rocky Stafford and his wife Brenda of Crowley; her mother, Helen B. Dartez of Crowley; two sisters, Myrtle D. Simon of Conroe, TX, Lorita D. Noble of Deer Park, TX; one brother, John Eutis Dartez of Crowley; ten grandchildren, Adrian Stafford, Angelle Stafford, Courtney Elwood, Tony Stafford, Bethany Rivera, Brandon Stafford, Alisha Stafford, Amber Stafford, Ross Stafford and Nick Lucero; six great-grandchildren, Trenton Stafford, Kayli Credeur, Starr Elwood, Morgan Stafford, Christian Stafford and Ainsley Stafford.
Pallbearers will be Dexter Stafford, Ray Stafford, Rocky Stafford, Adrian Stafford, Tony Stafford, Brandon Stafford, Ross Stafford, Nick Lucero and Kenny Lucero.
Mrs. Stafford was preceded in death by her father Eutis Dartez.
