Double-ring ceremony unites couple
The Lighthouse Christian Center in Eunice served as the setting for an afternoon double-ring ceremony uniting Misty Lynn Barham and Torrence Jevon Jones in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held on February 7 at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Daniel D. Ortego officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Nesta Vaughn of Abbeville and the groom is the son of Betsy Jones Lewis of Eunice and Randolph Scott of Eunice.
Ushering wedding guests to their appointed seats were Devon Freeman and Torrance Skinner, both of Eunice.
The bride, given away by her mother, was radiant in a satin off-the-shoulder A-line gown. The sweetheart neckline featured a side-draped bodice and an asymmetrical skirt accented with a chapel-length train.
She carried a hand-held bouquet of burgundy and bridal white roses accented with crystals and feathers wrapped with burgundy satin ribbons.
Serving as Matron of Honor was Starla Steber of Abbeville, sister of the bride. She chose a burgundy sleeveless satin V-neckline dress featuring an A-line skirt accented with a matching wrap. She carried a hand-held bouquet of burgundy and bridal white roses wrapped with burgundy satin ribbon.
Serving as flower girls were Cicelee, Adayvia and Dahlia Jones, daughters of the couple.
Serving as best man was Johnathan Jones of Sacramento, Calif., cousin of the groom.
The groom wore a white tuxedo with a matching vest and tie. The best man wore a white tuxedo with a matching burgundy vest and tie.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Northwest Community Center.
The bride is a graduate of Abbeville High School and LSUE where she received an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.
The groom is a graduate of Eunice High School.
The couple have made their home in Eunice.
