Double-ring ceremony unites couple

Chapel at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas served as the setting for the double-ring, candlelight, evening ceremony uniting Tiffany D. Miller and Xavier O. Villalobos in holy matrimony. The ceremony was held on May 25 at 6 p.m.

Parents of the bride are Patricia C. Miller of Eunice and Charles and Donna Miller of Eunice, and the groom's parents are Graciela Vega of San Antonio, Texas and Refugio Villalobos of Edinburg, Texas.

The Bride

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in an ivory Anjolique gown.

Following tradition, the bride wore her wedding gown as something new, a gold wedding band from her grandmother Mrs. Octave (Bessie) Courville of Eunice was attached to her bouquet, which served as something old, the bride’s ivory veil with a Swarovski barrette was something borrowed from bridesmaid Fiona Wiesehan, and a pear-shaped diamond and aquamarine ring, a gift from the groom, was something blue.

The bride carried a bouquet of ivory peonies, roses, hydrangea and ranunculus.

The Attendants

Serving as matron of honor was Mrs. Faith King of San Antonio, formerly of Eunice, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids included Stacey Glines of Portland, Texas, Fiona Wiesehan of Katy, Texas; Debra Davis of Katy, Texas; and Marie Longoria of McAllen, Texas.

The bridal attendants wore chocolate brown dresses of their choice with Tiffany blue accents, and carried hyndrangea bouquets with a Tiffany blue ribbon.

Serving as flower girl was Alexis Madeline Belvis of San Antonio, daughter of Mike and Annette Belvis.

She wore an ivory tea-length dress with Tiffany blue accents, and carried a hydrangea pomander.

The ring bearer was Matthew Aaron King of San Antonio, nephew of the bride, son of Josh and Faith King. He wore a black suit with a matching white shirt and a Tiffany blue neck tie.

Serving as best man was Herman Carrell of Abilene, Texas.

Groomsmen included Mike Karam of McAllen, Texas, Mike Belvis of San Antonio, Rick Garcia of Mercedes, Texas, and Rene Ramirez of McAllen, Texas.

The groom wore a black suit, black shirt, and a matching white tie and the groomsmen wore black suits, white shirts, and Tiffany blue ties.

The ushers during the ceremony included Esteban Sanchez of Pharr, Texas and Josh King of San Antonio, Texas.

The Reception

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed dinner at Ocean One Bar & Grill, followed by an after-party in the Panorama Suite at Planet Hollywood overlooking the Paris Hotel and Bellagio Fountains.

The wedding cake was a three-tiered all-white cake with hand-made sugar flowers.

Special out-of-town guests included 70 friends and family from La, Texas, New York, Calif, North Carolina, and Indiana.

Wedding Trip

The couple stayed in Las Vegas for eight days, and are planning a honeymoon to Hawaii in the spring.

The bride is a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College.

The groom attended University of Texas at San Antonio and both are in restaurant/bar management.

The couple have made their home in Mission, Texas.
