Early voting to begin, November’s ballot is lengthy
Registrar of Voters Lucas Buller announced early voting for the November 4th, election will begin Tuesday, October 21, and continue through Tuesday, October 28.
The ballot includes the following:
•President and Vice President of the United States
•U.S. Representative Seventh Congressional District
•Seven proposed Constitutional Amendments
•Ward One’s city marshal runoff
•Ward One school district bond proposition
•Road District Number Four Proposition
•Town of Mamou’s District Four Alderman runoff.
Early voting will be conducted at the Registrar’s Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Buller would like to remind everyone wearing shirts and/or hats promoting candidates is prohibited at the courthouse during early voting.bHe also recommends familiarizing yourself with the constitutional amendments before going to vote.
