Epsilon Sigma Sorority holds monthly meetings
The September meeting of the Epsilon Sigma Sorority was held at the home of Sheila Miller. After a delicious meal, the group was treated to a program, also given by Miller. She used old LP records for a walk through yesterday with musical recording artists from the past.
On September 27, sorority members enjoyed a group trip to Lafayette for the Tinsels and Treasures exhibit at the Cajundome Convention Center. The event was sponsored by the Lafayette Junior League, and benefits from this enormous bazaar are used to fund the many charity projects sponsored by the Junior League.
The November meeting was hosted by JoAnne Eastin, who served a delicious seafood casserole to the members. Haidee Floyed presented a program on the history of wine making and its different types and pairings with food. She also spoke about finding good wines at the grocery store. Members were given a wine tasting to find their preferences.
A short meeting followed with time for members to share and visit.
