Euel John Landry
CROWLEY-Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Euel John Landry, 82, who died at 1:10 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at his residence in Crowley, LA.
Father Gary Schexnayder will conduct the services. The burial will be in
the Estherwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. Monday until 10 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Landry was born Nov. 3, 1926 in Cossinade, LA to the late Elier and Zelima Landry. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country during WWII. He was a mechanic all of his life and worked for many GM dealerships. He loved to race cars, fish and hunt and loved spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Romero Landry of Crowley; four daughters, Theresa A. Hunt and her husband, Richard of Beaumont, TX, Sandra M. Couder and her husband, Les of Castle Rock, CO, Stacey R. Tiritilli and her husband, Mike of Fayetteville, AR and Shelly Monceaux and her husband, Louis of Egan, LA; four sons, Kenny Landry of Nederland, TX, Jeff Landry and his wife, Sandra of Groves, TX, Tracy Landry of Baytown, TX and Kevin Landry of Iota, LA; a sister, Ella Mae Landry of Lafayette, LA; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Gloria Faye Sims and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. of Crowley.
