Eunice police seeking rape suspects

The Eunice Police Department revealed shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday that it is investigating the rapes of two female ages, 11 and 12 respectively.

The attack happened on Sunday, Dec. 20 at approximately 7:15 p.m. thru 7:45 p.m.

The two victims were walking on East Magnolia near North ML King Dr, when they were accosted by two suspects, both thought to be middle-aged black males, in a large black car with tinted windows. The make and model are not known at this time.

The victims described the suspects as one light skinned with a short haircut wear blue jeans and a black tee shirt, the other as dark skinned with braids in his hair and wearing a red tee shirt.

The victims were walking on East Magnolia when the suspects drove up to them. The girls ran into a grassy area near MLK, coming out near the railroad tracks north of East Magnolia Ave.

The suspects then drove past them and jumped out of the car, grabbed them and forced them into the vehicle. The suspects then drove to East Elementary School, where the victims said, the rapes occurred.

Police did not say if the girls suffered any additional injuries, or why the girls were out without supervision.
