Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office lists 22 arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 22 bookings in the parish jail from February 18, through February 24.

Arrested were the following:

•Gary Allen Duhon Jr., 26, 1451 John Bail Road, Lake Charles, was charged February 18, with criminal damage to property and battery on a correctional officer. Bond was set at $35,000.

•Todd James Wall, 23, 1210 Sawmill Road, Ville Platte, was charged February 18, with issuing worthless checks (two counts). Wall was released on a $275 bond.

•Jason Paul Fontenot, 27, 1826 Rider Road, Ville Platte, was charged February 18, with issuing worthless checks (seven counts). Fontenot was released on an $875 bond.

•Jamison Cortez Thomas, 19, 401 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was charged February 18, with illegal possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana. Thomas was released on a $7,500 bond.

•Quan Quanminski Lafleur, 17, 129 E. Desoto St., Ville Platte, was charged February 18, with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Lafleur was released on a $15,000 bond.

•Amber Dawn Ducote, 20, 2001 Alec St., Mamou, was charged February 18, with contributing to the delinquency of juveniles (two counts). Ducote was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Troy Steven Boudreaux, 41, 250 Howard Road, Opelousas, was charged February 19, with criminal damage to coin-operated machines (four counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Boudreaux was released on a $25,000 bond.

•David Shawn Soileau, 42, 3031 Karma C. Schad Drive, Opelousas, was charged February 19, with criminal damage to coin-operated devices (four counts). Soileau was released on a $25,000 bond.

•Marlon Montrelle Williams, 20, 706 S.W. Railroad Ave., Ville Platte, was charged February 19, with aggravated second-degree battery. Bond was set at $50,000.

•Marvin McDonald Roberts, 19, 904 Pine St., Mamou, was charged February 19, with armed robbery. Roberts was released on a $150,000 bond.

•Eldrick Paul Richardson, 38, 2423 Highway 190, Basile, was charged February 19, with theft (two counts) and unauthorized use of an access card. Richardson was released on a $2,500 bond.

•William Haviland, 25, 14229 Veterans Memorial Highway, Turkey Creek, was charged February 19, with theft (two counts). Bond was set at $10,000.

•Johnny Buxton, 46, 1238 L’anse Meg Road, Mamou, was charged February 20, with criminal trespassing (two counts) and simple criminal damage to property (two counts). Bond was set at $2,500.

•Donna Louise Greenwell, 51, 3028 Highway 113, Pitkin, was charged February 22, with aggravated kidnapping. Bond was set at $100,000.

•John Phillips, 31, 1808 Hickory St., Pine Prairie, was charged February 22, with aggravated battery. Phillips was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Matthew Blaine Baquet, 19, 7230 Palmetto Drive, Baton Rouge, was charged February 23, with simple battery. Baquet was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Randy Jack, 34, 706 S.W. Railroad, Ville Platte, was charged February 23, with distribution of crack cocaine. Bond was set at $15,000 bond.

•Brandy Lynn Romero, 27, 5296 Eunice/Basile Highway, Eunice, was charged February 23, with aggravated kidnapping. Romero was released on a $100,000 bond.

•Paul James Romero, 46, 5296 Eunice/Basile Highway, Eunice, was charged February 23, with aggravated kidnapping. Romero was released on a $100,000 bond.

•Elizabeth Ashley Brunet, 30, 4923 Chataignier Road, Ville Platte, was charged February 23, with simple escape. No bond had been set at press time.

•Leigh David Carrier, 30, 211 Liberty Ave., Apt. 733, Lafayette, was charged February 24, with possession of Schedule I drugs and possession of Schedule II drugs. Carrier was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Sandra Jean Wilson, 42, 1517 Max St., Mamou, was charged February 25, with driving under suspension, failure to dim lights and no registration in vehicle. Wilson was released on a $566.50 bond.
