Felicitas H. Cramer
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Leo IV Catholic Church in Roberts Cove for Felicitas Habetz “Granny” Cramer, 95, who died Monday, November 16, 2009, at 9:45 a.m. in Roberts Cove.
Mrs. Cramer was a lifelong resident of Roberts Cove. She was a lifelong member of St. Leo Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society. She was a member of the Roberts Cove VFC Club. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and her monthly pokeno group.
Father Thomas Habetz, a cousin to Mrs. Cramer, officiated for the services.
The family requested visiting hours Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A rosary was recited Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial was in St. Leo Cemetery in Roberts Cove.
Survivors include two daughters, Anna Margaret C. Zaunbrecher and Carolyn Cramer, both of Roberts Cove; three granddaughters, Trudy Z. Gary of Roberts Cove, Allison C. Segura of Kingwood, Texas, Lyndsey C. Warner of Harahan; three grandsons, Brian Zaunbrecher and Darryl Zaunbrecher, both of Roberts Cove, and John Cramer of Chicago; three great-grandchildren, Brianne and Kennedy Gary, both of Roberts Cove, and Ethan John Segura of Kingwood, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Kathy G. Breaux of Lafayette; one half-sister, Johanna Sittig of Crowley; one half-brother, Paul Habetz; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
Pallbearers were Brian and Darryl Zaunbrecher, Bryan Gary, John Cramer, Luis Segura and John Warner.
Mrs. Cramer was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Cramer; daughter, Patricia Cramer; son, Nate Cramer; infant son, John Bernard Cramer; son-in-law, Billy Zaunbrecher; parents, Heinrich and Anna Margaret O. Habetz, five sisters, Marie Habetz, Victoria H. Schneider, Madeline Cramer, Annie Meyer and Marie Katherine Habetz; five brothers, H. Joseph Habetz, H. Leo Habetz, Jr., Msgr. L. C. Habetz, Alphonse Habetz, Sr. and Henry Habetz; one half-brother, Henry “Butch” Habetz.
The family requested memorial contributions to the Fr. Seelos Center, 2030 Constance St, New Orleans, LA 70130.
