Former Gov. Foster endorses Emmons in state representative race
Rayne, LA – Anthony Emmons, Republican candidate for State Representative in District 42, has received a very prominent endorsement of his campaign, that of former Louisiana Governor Mike Foster.
“I am wishing all the luck in the world to my good friend, Anthony, in his upcoming election for State Representative from District 42,” stated Governor Foster. “Anthony is a very capable, experienced businessman who will make an excellent public servant for all of the people in his district.”
Anthony Emmons is Vice President of Sales at MB Industries, a locally owned business based in Rayne and operating around the world.
He and his family live in Rayne, including his wife, Lori, and four daughters.
Emmons’s campaign is focused on reducing state government to a size and scope that can be effectively supported by Louisiana’s current tax base, as well as looking for ways to encourage state agencies to be more efficient with public tax dollars. His platform is based on conservative, small government principles, keeping tax burdens as low as possible for Louisiana families and businesses.
Governor Foster further confirms Anthony’s conservative credentials. “Anthony has always been a conservative Republican, working for smaller and more efficient government at the state and national levels, and I encourage the voters of District 42 to review his platform for continuing to move our state forward.”
