Former LSU coach to hold Lafayette book signing Saturday
LAFAYETTE - Coach Dale Brown, the former longtime men’s head basketball coach at LSU, will be at Barnes & Noble in Lafayette Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. to sign his new book, "Getting Over the 4 Hurdles of Life."
Brown is the second-winningest coach in SEC history, and today is recognized as one of the top motivational speakers in the U.S.
The book is a 160-page hardcover book that shows us ways to get past the obstacles, or hurdles, that block our path to success, happiness and peace of mind. Four of the most common hurdles are “I can’t / You can’t,” past failures or fear of failure, handicaps, and lack of self-knowledge. This inspiring book – by one of the top motivational speakers in the U.S. – is brought to life by intriguing stories of various people who overcame life’s hurdles. Introduction by former LSU and NBA star Shaquille O’Neal.
