Fourth ‘Dancing with the Stars’ couple announced
CROWLEY – The Rotary Club of Crowley is proud to announce its collaboration with the Community Outreach Corporation and the Crowley Christian Care Center as they join together to present “Dancing with the Stars, in a Caring Way” May 4, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Opera House of the South.
The focus of this combined effort of fundraising is to provide for the needs of this area’s small portion of the world through the efforts of the Community Outreach Corporation and the Crowley Christian Care Center.
These organizations fit together like the pieces of a beautiful puzzle and together they invite you to join them in a “caring way” as they present their very own version of “Dancing with the Stars.”
The charity fundraising gala is being co-chaired by Emily Stoma and Mary Zaunbrecher. Brenda Core of The Core Dance Center is the chairwoman of the choreography team that has also generously donated their time and talent. Troy Breaux will act as financial chairman as well as silent auction chairman.
The inaugural event will feature 11 couples, the “Stars of Acadiana.” Each week a new couple will be introduced to the public.
Dancing with the Stars is proud to announce the fourth couple and their choreographer selected to participate in this year’s gala.
Mark Cullen: Cullen is CEO and president of Compass Health. He is married to Lynn Faulk and the father of Katherine, Alyssa, Ross and Jon Austin.
Kimberly G. Gattle: Gattle is married to Tommy and is the mother of Thomas and Mary Elizabeth. She is a graduate of LSU and is the executive director of the Grand Opera House of the South. Gattle is also employed in her family’s business, Gielen Enterprises, and is the owner of Le Grand Hall.
Gattle finds great enjoyment in giving back to the community.
The choreographer for Cullen and Gattle is Lisa Johnson. Johnson is a graduate of LSU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance. She is the mother of Alyse and Drake Lalande. The success of this worthwhile event is based on raising money through sponsorship, ticket sales and voting for the couple of your choice to win the highly sought after mirrored ball and the title of inaugural “Dancing with the Stars” winner.
