Frankie Butler is a lifelong resident of Crowley. He said, “the best thing about being born and raised here is being a part of a small town where everyone knows each other.” He graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 1994. “This is the first year for some time that I’ve kept up with Pio football,” Butler explained, and he is excited to see what his Alma Mata will do in the high school playoffs.
As the owner of Cajun Pool Boy, Butler enjoys providing a service for the Crowley area. He said, “I like providing that one to one customer service,” where the customer feels valued as opposed to the sterile feel of a major corporation. His pool boy motto is, “Relax, let a Cajun handle it!” Butler explained that he began working in the pool and spa industry about thirteen years ago when the oil field industry was is a slump. He answered an advertisement for the service department at Sabine Pools and Spas in Lafayette. There he managed the service department for five years before opening his own business Butler explained that he enjoys his career because of the challenges he faces in solving day to day problems which help his customers.
In his down time, Butler likes to do just about anything that gets him outdoors. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and camping. He also has two boys, nine-year-old Boden and five-year-old Braedon. In general, he is just a laid back, fun loving guy.
