Ann Mire has quite the soft spot for history, particularly the history of this city. “If you’re ever looking for an old picture, call me, I probably know where to look,” she said.
When textbook availability to students after school hours dwindled last year, parents were left up in arms. Superintendent John Bourque said that was among the biggest complaints when Common Core was fully implemented in schools last year.
The Acadia Parish School Board untabled three items during a special session Wednesday and approved all three — two resolutions in regards to performance-based energy efficiency contract matters and the re-roofing project at 800 North Western Avenue in Crowley. It just took an hour to get there.
