Crowley Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, located at 729 Odd Fellows Road.
Rayne Police are investigating a pair of shootings that occurred in a span of about 36 hours. The first occurred Sunday at the Burger King restaurant here and left one man in the hospital and another on the run from police.

The Acadia Players have a new production premiering this weekend, and it sure is an interesting one. The play, “Holy Ground,” bills itself as “A Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Semi-Musical in an Immersion Environment.” Try saying that five times fast.
