Fruge, Hargrave unite in nuptial mass, double ring ceremony
Erin Noel Fruge and Kevin Brian Hargrave were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. on February 12, 2011 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire. The Very Reverend Monsignor Russell Harrington officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Raenella Fruge of Lafayette. She is the granddaughter of
Velma Fruge of Lake Charles, the late Walter Fruge of Lake Charles, and the late Edwin and Edna Richard of Welsh. She is a graduate of Carencro High School, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she received a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor’s of Civil Law. She is currently employed as an attorney in Lafayette.
The groom is the son of George and Ethel Hargrave of Crowley. He is the grandson of the late George and Gladys Hargrave of Crowley and the late William and Violet Burke of Crowley. He is a graduate of Crowley High School and will graduate in May of 2011 from McNeese State University with a degree in Athletic Training.
Maid of Honor was Amanda Montoucet, friend of bride. Bridesmaids were Kate Daigle, friend of the bride, Brandie Guidry, friend of the bride, and Mandy Burke, cousin of the groom.
Best Man was Michael Christy, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Thomas Rodman, cousin of the groom, and Dusty Fruge, brother of the bride. Flower Girl was Ella Chisum, cousin of the bride. Ring Bearer was Seth Bourgeois, cousin of the bride
Ushers were Eric Meche, friend of the bride, Robert Burke, uncle of the groom, and Eddie Gary, cousin of the bride.
Reader was Heather Harrison, cousin of the bride.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at Fezzo’s III in Scott. After returning from their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Crowley.
