Garber, LeBlanc make wedding plans

Earl and Janis Garber of Iota are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter,

Ashley Camille, to Alan Dale LeBlanc of Welsh.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Walter T. and Eula B. Garber and Ruby S. Landry and the late Oran C. Landry, all of Iota.

Ashley is a 2000 graduate of Iota High School and a 2004 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental management systems. She is currently employed with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.

The prospective groom is the son of John and Ingrid LeBlanc of Welsh. He is the grandson of Earline L. Leblanc and the late Wesley W. LeBlanc of Kinder and the late John and Lucille D. Carlberg of Lake Charles.

Alan is a 1993 graduate of Welsh High School. He also graduated from Sowella Tech at Lake Charles in 1995. He is currently employed with Penske.

The couple has plans to wed during a 4 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, March 7, 2009 to be held in the Point-Aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota.

The Reverend Patricia D. Carlberg will officiate the exchanging of their nuptial vows.

Following the wedding the couple will reside in Iota.
