SULPHUR – Glenn David Arceneaux, 60, of Sulphur left us to continue his journey on Monday, May 4, 2009 at his residence.
Glenn was born August 29, 1948 in Crowley and lived most of his life in Sulphur. He was a retired Field Supervisor for Premier Casing in Lafayette and a member of LaSalette Catholic Church. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, D.W. Arceneaux and Mamie Jeffers Arceneaux; maternal grandparents, Jack and Addie Wilder; parents, David Walker “Sonny Boy” and Patricia J. Arceneaux; brother, Gerald Arceneaux; sister, Renee’ Arceneaux; and son, David Cody Arceneaux.
He is survived by his wife, Renee’ Arceneaux; four sons, Brian Arceneaux, Jamie Arceneaux, Jesse Moore and Joey Toups, all of Sulphur; daughter, Jennifer Malone, of Vidor, Texas; nine grandchildren; sisters, Sunny Gail McCulloch of Lake Charles and Suzette Arceneaux Dean; and brothers, Gary “Skeet” Arceneaux and Shane Arceneaux of Sulphur and Gregory Arceneaux of Dallas, Texas.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 in Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., and Friday, May 8, 2009 from 8 a.m. until time of services. Visitation will be in Robison Funeral Home.
