Friday marked the return of Greetings From Levy Park when Michot’s Melody Makers took the stage for a nearly two-hour concert. Louis Michot, left, and bassist Bryan Webre with (not shown) drummer Kirkland Middleton and guitarist Mark Bingham performed until rain forced the show to stop at around 7:30 p.m. Friday. At right, posters across the park grounds reminded attendees to “mask up and socially distance.”

Local crowd enjoys return of Greetings From Levy Park

Friday marked the long-awaited return of Greetings From Levy Park and from all indications, that return was a success.

The Canvas People of Austin, Texas, kicked of the seventh season of Greetings From Levy Park Friday night. The indie-rock band provided its own brand of melodic indie and harmony-driven music to a crowd of about 200.
