Lauren Aline Hargrave and Troy Michael Landry were united in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony during a nuptial mass held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath on Friday, June 20, at half past seven in the evening. Father Wayne J. Duet officiated at the candlelight ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown from the Oleg Cassini Collection. The dress featured a shirred satin bodice with matching ivory satin cap sleeves. The natural dropped waistline fell into a full ballroom skirt of silk tulle layers that flowed into a chapel train. Her heirloom cathedral length veil of silk illusion, worn by her mother and godmother on their wedding day, was edged by French lace appliques. The bride carried a hand tied bouquet of ivory roses, peonies and stephanotis.

Friends of the bride serving in the wedding were maid of honor Jan Bouillion and bridesmaids Suzette Stutes and Suzanne Mayard. They wore misty blue strapless gowns of bella chiffon with ruched empire bodice and ivory self tie belts. They carried blue hydrangea enveloped by misty blue chiffon.

Sister and brother Caroline Hidalgo, cousin of the bride, and Walter Hidalgo, III, cousin and godchild of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid and groomsman. Serving as flower girls were Rose Marie Hidalgo, cousin of the bride and Hayley Landry, godchild of the groom

The mother of the bride wore a fitted pink satin gown with a laser cut V-neck bodice and lush mesh skirt. The mother of the groom wore and elegant olive organza two piece ensemble. The jacket featured beading on the collar and the A-line skirt fell softly to the floor.

Program attendants were Ashlie Guidry, Kristen Broussard and Virginie Oxaran, friends of the bride. Scriptures during the Mass were read by Mrs. Pam Thibodeaux and Mrs. Girdie Moncla, aunt of the groom. Mrs. Donna Hopson, godmother of the bride, and Ms. Jackie Duplantis, godmother of the groom, presented the offertory gifts. Mr. Daniel Reynolds, godfather of the bride, served as Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister. Music for the ceremony was provided by Paul Baker, organ; Lauren Baker, Violin; and Andrea Lowy, flute.
