Harry LaFleur, Sr.

Harry LaFleur, Sr., 90, of Jennings, La., died Sunday, September 14, 2008, at Jennings American Legion Hospital in Jennings, La.

He was retired from H Brown Mechanic Shop. For the last two years of his life he was a resident of the War Veteran's Home in Jennings.

He served his country in the US Army during WWII.

He is survived by a daughter, Elaine Lejeune & Kenneth of Eunice, La.; three sons, Harry J. LaFleur, Jr. & Merella of Jennings, Percy L. LaFleur & Pamela of Houston, Texas and Gerald J. LaFleur & Sandy of Denver, Colo.; four sisters, Vurley Guillory and Patty Picard, both of Lake Charles, La., Anna Bell Agee of Denham Springs, La., Nell Davidge of Natalbany, La.; three brothers, Edward LaFleur of Eunice, La., Joseph E. LaFleur of Lake Charles, Huey LaFleur of Evangeline, La.; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren;

He was preceded in death by: Parents, Joseph E. & Ella Guillory LaFleur; Wife, Estella Hebert LaFleur; Son, Dwight Adam LaFleur; Brother, Elbridge LaDleur; Sister, Lillie Mae Ardoin, Grandson, Kevin James.

Visitation at Quirk & Son, Eunice, is from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Wednesday, September 17, 2008 with a rosary @ 7 PM. Reopen @ 8 AM Thurs. Funeral service will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 18, 2008 . Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
