Hebert, Freeman engaged to marry at St. Michael’s Church

CROWLEY - Jaime Troy and Sheila Hebert of Evangeline announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayli Michelle Hebert, to Cecil Wade Freeman Jr. of Mire.

The couple has set the date for September 10, 2011 at 1 p.m. Father Gary Schexnayder will officiate the ceremony at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Gary and Shirley Ardoin of Ville Platte and the late James and Juanita Hebert.

She is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and a graduate of Acadian Area Career College with a state certification as a phlebotomist.

The prospective groom is the son of Jennie and Tony Broussard of Mire and Cecil and Melissa Freeman of Indian Bayou.

He is the grandson of Gladys Navarre Freeman of Rayne and the late Russell Wayne Freeman Sr. and Jennie L.P. Arceneaux of Mire and the late Calton Arceneaux.

He is a graduate of Rayne High School and is presently working at Seatrax as a crane mechanic.

After their wedding, the couple will reside in Evangeline.
